Feeling crafty
Kimmy and I have been working like crazy for our next Frock Affair on May 8th, and even a long weekend couldn't slow us down! Does anyone else feel a DIY project coming on?
Something that we've been wanting to pick up for A Frock Affair are some mirrors to hang around our venue. So we decided to head down to Reverse Garbage and see what finds there were to be found. For those who aren't familiar with Reverse Garbage, RG is a hoarder/ treasure-hunter's paradise - filled with all sorts of weird and wonderful bits and pieces. If you live in Brisbane, it really is worth taking the time to check out!

On this visit we were in luck! We were able to pick up three great mirrors for less than $2.00 each....
...as well as some great mosaic tiles for under $10 - perfect for framing...
...then headed home for a bit of crafting!
After giving everything a good clean, we used some tape to cover up the sharp edges. (yes, that's electrical tape - nothin fancy around here!)
